Yes. Thank you!
Mmm. I'm going to send the schools a mail, and ask if I can come next year! :)
well, at my school there is an american guy for an exhange in 12th grade and last year there was a korean guy. maybe you should check out another organization?
oh, and there are many gymnasien/gymnasiums(whatever *lol*) in munich. i dunno how many, but i guess more than ten. mine is in unterhaching, not far away from munich (like 10-15 minutes by car i think) and we always have exchange students at our school... dunno if that helps you but this is our school homepage: http://www.gymnasiumunterhaching.de
Danke schön! Ich denke, dass es keine andere Organisations gibt! Vielleicht eine International..
Ich suche weiter für mehrere Information!
u need to find an international oranisation i think
& there are a lot of gymnasiums in munich
& most of them take exchange students
Yes Organization would be the best maybe. I really would like to live in a host-family.
I have been in contact with 3 organizations (Norwegian ones), but all of them tell med that I'll perhaps get a host-family in Berlin. and I want to München!
So I need to find an international one, that I can travel with, even though I'm Norwegian.
I can't help you with the apartment, but my suggestion is that maybe private schools are more willing to take exchange students, as a bit of a good pr or something. I was at a school that had one or two exchange students each year, though only for a couple of months, not the entire year. And it was a school for girls and i'd completely understand if that isn't your cup of tea.
Now I have a long list with Gymnasiums in München. I'll ask them, but private school is a good alternative too!
I'm happy as long as I can move to München <3 and learn the language.
A school with only girls wouldn't bother me!
by now I found the homepage of the school i used to go to: http://www.maria-ward-schulen.de/
All the teachers there are incredibly nice and I think there's mail adresses on the page. I don't know if and how often those are checked, but if your mail reaches someone you'll get a nice, helpful reply.
Good luck with all the organization!
Thanks a lot! I have already found a lot, only because of you guys! :D
DO YOU KNOW OF ANY ORGANIZATIONS I CAN TRAVEL WITH?
WITH OR WITHOUT HOSTFAMILY? :)
what excatly do u mean?
like travel around during ur year in munich or what?
Noo. of course not.
I mean that if I'm not finding an organization I can travel with, then I'm looking for an appartment. But then I have to do everything myself... Call the school and tell them my situation. That I'm moving to München and that I really want to go to their Gymnasium for 1 year!
at my school there was an exchange student in the 12th class. but i don't know whether he came with an organisation or by himself. i just know that he stayed with a family who had a son who also went to my school but was much younger.
i went to the heinrich-heine-gymnasium: http://www.hhg-muenchen.de
i don't think there should be any problems with finding a school where you can study! we don't get too many exchange students in germany anyways (for example compared to the US).
so since most organizations are quite expensive, I would suggest that you email / call the schools and ask! Most Germans understand English, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
