Muenchen - Alles was mit Minga zu tun hat

[mood |excitedexcited]

Hi everyone!

I'm going to be traveling to Munich with my Travel and Tourism internship group from May 4th to the 11th. We're going to be doing all the typical touristy things - visting Neuschwanstein castle, eating at the Hofbrauhaus - but at night we'll be able to roam about Munich freely.

What are some local spots (bars, cafes, clubs) that I should visit? I want to check out places that are more 'off the beaten path' and give me a feel for what Munich is all about. Visiting Germany is my ideal trip, and so if there's any advice you could give me to make it more memorable, I'd really appreciate it!

If you want to experience Munichs nightlife i recommend you Kultfabrik. That's a area with plenty of discoes and a lot of people. :)

.. and the cafes at Marienplatz are very nice. You can sit there outside on a table and watch the big church and the life in Munich streets.. <3

if you have a car to get around, be sure to visit the 4004, the best disco IMO. it's at the Mittlerer Ring. Kultfabrik is very popular as well (if you go by train: it's right at the Ostbahnhof, just follow the stream of people from there)
have fun in munich :)

Glockenbachviertel is pretty full with nightlife, try Holy Home, K&K, Netzer & Overart, Baader Cafe, Frauenhofer Gaststätte and many more besides.
